Marriage Matters: 2018 July 8, 15, 22, & 29
Two people don't join together as one without some hardship at some point. It takes some flexibility and effort to make a truly healthy marriage.
There was a time in our marriage when we couldn't go more than a day or two without a big blowout fight. When divorce and depression were constantly on our minds. We could not imagine our marriage ever being happy. It didn't seem possible.
By the grace of God, that time is over. We grew through it and we are happy, joyful, and in love. We were transformed.
Our marriage is not perfect, but each year is better than the one before it. We made changes during our hard times and learned new habits and disciplines.
We miss each other when one of us has to go somewhere. We go on dates, stay up late together, and we are raising our kids with joy.
This Sunday July 8, 7PM, we will be talking about what we learned. It is open for everyone who is willing to work for a good marriage, whether you attend church or not.
Our church believes in marriage. We care about your marriage because God cares about your marriage.
